The 5 day residential course, Creative Writing for Graphic…

The 5 day residential course, "Creative Writing for Graphic Novels" that Bryan co-tutors for the Arvon Foundation has just been advertised: at the Arvon Foundation site.

This year, Bryan’s co-tutor is Rutu Modan, author of the excellent Exit Wounds. The course runs from the evening of Monday 17th October to Saturday morning 22nd October. There are a limited number of grants available from Arvon to cover the cost of the course, so my advice is to get in early.

Also, Anders Ludgren of Shazam sent over an interview with Bryan that he kindly translated from Swedish and gave us permission to publish.

Wednesday January 26th: Bryan just sent me a video to upload onto YouTube and embed onto the site, called Encounter with a madman: here's part 1;

It's a 30 minute 1981 programme on Science Fiction from Granada TV's erstwhile culture show Celebration featuring SF writer Bob Shaw and graphic novelist Bryan Talbot. The first half is documentary, the second a short time travel film, Encounter With a Madman, written by Shaw and starring the then unknown Jenny Eclair.
