The new city square in Sunderland is currently under construction - see the Sunderland Echo news item - and Bryan has designed the "Keel Line" series of 437 flags, some 230 metres long, listing the names of ships built on the River Wear and telling the history of the city in illustrations. As an exclusive for the site, here are a couple of photos of some of the completed sandblasted flags.
